If elected or re-elected, please describe legislation you expect to sponsor or co-sponsor.
Would happily sponsor legislation regarding raising minimum wage, expanding Medicaid, lowering taxes for the working class
What are the most important concerns you’ve heard from Manchester residents and how can you address those concerns if elected or re-elected?
Property taxes are too high. We need a different schematic for funding our needs without relying on property taxes. I’d be happy to push legislation about this
New Hampshire legislators are citizen legislators and being a legislator is a significant time commitment. How much time per week can you spend on legislative duties while the Senate/House is in session?
My work schedule is made more than a month in advance. If elected, my employer will allow me to have days off for legislation.
How do you feel the current divisive political climate in the United States will impact the New Hampshire General Court over the next two years and how would you navigate that divisiveness in your duties?
If rights are taken away on a federal level, it’s important to legislate them on the state level so that our citizens won’t go without. I’m happy to move this forward in the state house

What is the most significant issue facing Manchester residents at the municipal level and how can you, as a legislator aid the city government on that issue?
I believe school funding is the biggest issue. It’s directly tied to property taxes. The whole structure needs to be changed and we can do that with legislation
In your opinion, what were the five most significant pieces of legislation introduced over the last two years? Please explain what made them significant.
-“Divisive concepts” bill. Talking about race and gender aren’t divisive. If we want to learn real history, we need to learn about racism, as it has fueled significant historical events.
-Abortion ban. Many abortions happen out of medical necessity, and even if they don’t, an abortion ban will simply mean that people will attempt them on their own. Abortions need to be sterile procedures. People doing their own at home will mean infections, hemorrhages, and perforations. No one should be forced to keep a pregnancy they don’t want. We also need access to comprehensive birth control, but that’s a separate issue. Abortions need to be kept safe and legal.
-Attempting to make ivermectin over the counter. There is no medical evidence to support this. If a medication is going to be made OTC, it needs to go through proper channels. By going directly to legislation, it’s skipping doctors and pharmacists.
-NOT passing a higher minimum wage (which was presented in legislation). The common argument is that employers pay more than minimum anyway. If that’s true, then what’s the concern over legislating it? Fact is that people are hurting right now and need more money. The only way to make SOME employers pay more is by legislation.
-Adding dental coverage to Medicaid. This was a great move and I strongly support it
